School Supply List

The following is a list of basic supplies needed at junior high school for the 1st semester (Sept.–Jan.) and again for the 2nd semester (Feb.–June). Individual classes, such as language arts or math, might have additional supply requirements.

General Supplies (All Students)

• Backpack
• Folders or 1" binder for organization (student choice)
• Notebook paper
• Composition book with graph paper
• Composition book with college-ruled paper
• 1 single-subject spiral notebook
• Pencil pouch
• #2 pencils
• 1 eraser
• Ink pens (red, blue, and black)
• Colored pencils
• Glue sticks
• Highlighters (yellow, pink, green, blue)
• 1 box of Kleenex (to share with class)

Specific Class Supplies

• ART: Sketchbook
• CERAMICS: Sketchbook and gallon-size Ziploc bags
• 7th Grade Science: 12" ruler and extra glue sticks
• CHOIR: ½" 3-ring binder or folder with prongs
• FITNESS: Aylen gear, black or gray shorts/athletic pants, socks, and tennis shoes (Some items are available at the Aylen student store).
• GEOMETRY: Compass, scientific calculator or TI-84+ graphing calculator (TI-84+ will be used in grades 10–12)
• Accelerated Math 7/8 & Math 7: Optional – Five Star 1-subject 100-page graph-ruled spiral notebook with pocket (instead of composition book with graph paper)
• LEADERSHIP: Spiral notebook
• STEM / Design / Computer Science:
  • Spiral notebook
  • 1 pack of note cards
  • Optional: Safety gear (ear protection/apron)
• 9th Grade World History: Spiral notebook
