Principal's Message

Hello Falcon Families,

As we begin a new school year, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement entering my second year as Principal at Aylen Junior High. Last year was an incredible opportunity to learn, listen, and grow alongside our students, staff, and families. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made together and even more excited about what lies ahead.

My wife Destiny and I have called Puyallup home since 2006, and we continue to feel incredibly fortunate to raise our five kids in this vibrant, supportive community. Being part of the Puyallup School District not only as an educator, but also as a parent, gives me a unique perspective on what matters most in our schools.

At Aylen, we are committed to creating a school experience where every student feels known, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. Our staff is passionate about building strong relationships, setting high expectations, and working in partnership with families to support student success—both academically and personally.

This year, we’re proud to build on the foundation of “Raising the Bar” by embracing our new school-wide theme: The Falcon Way.

The Falcon Way is about doing things the right way, with pride, and always to the best of our ability. It’s about being servant leaders, showing character, and striving for greatness in all that we do. It’s how we operate as a school community—taking pride in who we are, how we treat others, and what it means to be part of the Aylen Falcon Family.

We’re excited to welcome our students back and look forward to another year of learning, leading, and soaring—together.
